Uprating effective dates 2020/2021

The Social Security (Coronavirus) (Further Measures) Amendment Regulations 2020 (SI.No.397/2020) provide for the effective dates for applying modified standard allowances and LHA rates during 2020/2021.

Effective dates for increases to universal credit standard allowance and LHA rates in 2020/2021

SI.No.397/2020

Provides for the modified rates of standard allowance specified in SI.No.371/2020 to take effect in the first assessment period that ends on or after 6 April 2020; and for determinations of LHA made on 31 March 2020 under article 4 of the Rent Officers (Universal Credit Functions) Order 2013 (SI.No.382/2013) to take effect in the first assessment period that ends on or after 6 April 2020, or on 6 April 2020 in any other case.

SR.No.61/2020 makes provision in Northern Ireland corresponding to provision in Great Britain in relation to effective dates for the modified universal credit standard allowances and LHA rates in 2020/2021.
